LORAIN – On a night the Lorain faithful may have expected an easy go versus rival Elyria, it was anything but, leading to a 62-55 Titans victory.
Scoring was sparse about a third of the way into the game before the Pioneers staked Lorain to a 14-point lead. They inched closer by the half before tying it up in the third quarter at 36 apiece.
Elyria was within four points in the final minute, when the Titans sank 3-of-4 free throws to ice the victory.

Pioneers senior guard Aiden Carter led all scorers with 20 points. MarSaun Robinson (Jr) and Dez Shelton (So) each added 11 points.
Lorain junior Seth Wilson (in just his second game since beginning the season with a shoulder injury) finished with a team-high 18 points – including two second-half three-pointers. He is already committed to play college ball at West Virginia.
Wilson was one of four Titans in double-figures: Aaron Whitehead (Sr) 12 points, Jamir Billings (Jr) 11, Aden Brown (Jr) 11.
