Governale grounds Dukes in 22-14 Columbia win

WELLINGTON – On a night Joe Governale ran for 288 yards for Columbia (2-5, 2-2) – the number ‘1’ shifts into the spotlight. One score was the difference as the Raiders get their second win of the season, 22-14 at Wellington (4-3, 2-2).

Columbia had touchdowns in each of the first three quarters and controlled the clock to upset the Dukes homecoming night.

Wellington QB Ben Higgins was crowned king and passed for 236 yards with a touchdown. Kicker Grace Dudziak nailed both extra point attempts, while being crowned queen.
